Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3

Just like Shure, the Ultimate Ears have certainly won their spurs in the professional audio field. The Ultimate Ears-top model, the UE 10 Pro, is used on stage by many world famous stars. For those who don’t want to spend $ 1,000. = on handmade IEM Ultimate Ears introduced the Super.fi series. The entry models in these series are the Super.fi 3, which is available in white and black.

The quality of sound of this Super.fi 3 is excellent. The bass tones are not ‘overdone’, and the Super.fi 3 therefore guarantees you with a neutral sound. Low, middle and higher tones are nicely balanced, which makes these IEM suitable for various sorts of music.

They are easy to plug into your ears and provide you with a fine level of insulation. A big plus of the Super.fi 3 is the fact that the cables are easy to replace. Just order new ones and plug them in!

Just like other IEM by Ultimate Ears the Super.fi 3 has a flexible cable entry on the plugs itself. Therefore, you can wear them over your ears without difficulties and is the risk of microphonic very much reduced. The cable is relatively short (115 cm). You can, however, lengthen it by using a male-female audio cable.

All in all, the Super.fi 3 is an excellent IEM. Should you, however, set great store by dominating bass tones, the Sony MDR-EX71 or, if your budget allows it, the Super.fi 5 EB is a better choice.
