Pros and cons
Every kind of sleeve has its pros and cons. You'll just have to try and find out which kind suits you best. My experience is that the triple-flange sleeves provide you with the best seal of the auditory canal. They are, however, less convenient than the foam ear tips (foamies) and the ultra flex sleeves. And, therefore, less suitable to wear them for a long period of time. A disadvantage of the very convenient foamies is their rather limited life span. You have to roll them between your thumb and index finger and, once you've plugged them in, they unfold again. Foamies are, in contrary to the other types, hard to clean and they have to be replaced after a limited period of time.
The triple-flange, flex and ultra flex sleeves last a much longer time and are easy to clean (you can just put them into your dish washer). I prefer the ultra flex sleeves: they offer a fairly good insulation against noises around you and are very convenient to wear.
Common types of sleeves:

Convenience and insulation is not all that matters. A lot of people also hear a difference in the quality of sound, wearing the different kinds of sleeves. So at first you'll have to find out which kind you prefer. If necessary, you can even adjust the sleeves, e.g. by shortening a triple-flange - which will result in a bi-flange- or by shortening the foamies. In short, there are a lot of possibilities to reach the ideal combination of wearing convenience and quality of sound. You could even decide to order cut to size ear plugs. You'll get a mould made of your auditory canal which guarantees a perfect fit and excellent seal. It's rather expensive, though: about $ 100,=
