It is a fact that 80% of the owners of the iPod mp3 players (still) have not switched to high quality in ear monitors (IEM), like the Shure, Etymotic or Sennheiser. It is odd: you spend a couple of hundreds of dollars on a good mp3 player and use, without thinking any further, the stock head phone. The latter is at best 'acceptable'.
